Dear Daddy,

When we think of you, we think of someone who is big and strong and smart enough to help us with our homework. But also someone who is nice and won’t make fun of us if we cry because we miss our friends in Ethiopia or if we get boo-boos or if the kids at our new school are mean. Is that what you’re like? If so, we are the luckiest kids around.

Today we played soccer with our friends. Together we scored two goals! Are you going to teach us any new games? Do you like to give kids piggy back rides? We hope so.

We can’t wait to meet you. Come get us soon, okay?

We love you Daddy.

Love,
Your kids
